YG’s new girl group BABYMONSTER is successfully conducting their debut fan meeting tour, with the behind-the-scenes of their starting performance in Tokyo, Japan revealed on the 15th.
The airport was bustling with fans eagerly waiting for BABYMONSTER during their first overseas schedule. Upon arrival in Japan, the members, buoyed by the enthusiastic farewell and support, quickly showcased their professional demeanor during rehearsals.
Finally, on the day of the fan meeting, the venue was packed with many local fans eager to meet BABYMONSTER. Fans took commemorative photos at the photo zone and struck BABYMONSTER’s signature poses, setting the atmosphere.
BABYMONSTER members, unable to hide their excitement, each found ways to ease their nerves before stepping on stage with determination. They kicked off the show with “SHEESH” amidst standing ovations and explosive cheers, delivering a dynamic performance of their tracks and debut reality show stage, elevating the fans’ excitement.
BABYMONSTER’s overwhelming live performance and stage presence kept the venue’s energy high. During talk time, they delighted fans by communicating fluently in Japanese, showcasing their ‘all-rounder’ charm once again.
The following day, their boundless energy continued in the second performance. The members, who performed for approximately 26,000 fans over two days, expressed their gratitude, saying, “We were touched by everyone enjoying our songs and dances with us. Thank you for helping us conclude happily until the end.”
Currently, BABYMONSTER is demonstrating impressive ticket power through their debut fan meeting tour ‘[BABYMONSTER PRESENTS: SEE YOU THERE]’. Recently, their originally scheduled two performances in Kobe, Japan (July 30-31) sold out despite being on weekdays, leading to an additional show on the afternoon of July 31, expanding to three performances. As a result, BABYMONSTER will engage with more fans across six cities in Asia, with a total of 10 shows.
