Monstiez, did you hear? BABYMONSTER is making a return to the music scene with a brand-new project. Formed by YG Entertainment, the K-pop girl group comprises seven members: Ruka, Pharita, Asa, Ahyeon, Rami, Rora, and Chiquita. Following the release of their non-album single Hot Sauce in July this year, the agency announced that the girl group will be returning with another mini-album.
On Friday, September 12, BABYMONSTER, through their official social media accounts, released a new teaser image for their upcoming mini-album, titled We Go Up. The image featured the name of the album in bold, white letters on a monochrome background, with just details of the release. The group did not reveal the track list or the theme of their upcoming project.
BABYMONSTER officially kicked off the countdown for their comeback with their new mini-album, which is slated for release on October 10. This will mark their second mini-album in almost a year. The post was shared with the caption: “BABYMONSTER 2nd MINI ALBUM [WE GO UP] 2025.10.10. 1 PM KST | 12 AM EDT.”
BABYMONSTER Is Also Busy With Their New Reality Show
Besides releasing a new music project, the seven-member group has also ventured into the world of reality shows. Titled Baemon House, the show offers fans an exclusive glimpse into the everyday routines and candid thoughts of the members, utilising self-camera footage to capture moments rarely seen before. The new reality show has been filmed inside their new residence outside Seoul, South Korea. Baemon House premiered on September 5 at 6 PM on their official YouTube channel and will release new episodes every Friday.
When Did BABYMONSTER Debut?
The seven-member group was introduced by YG Entertainment in January 2023. They released their debut single, Batter Up, in November of that year, with just six members, as Ahyeon had decided to take a break due to health issues. Finally, in April 2024, BABYMONSTER released their first mini-album, Babymons7er, as a group of seven. They released their first studio album, Drip, on November 1. Following this, they announced their first-ever world tour, Hello Monsters World Tour. They kicked off the tour in January 2025 at the KSPO Dome in South Korea. They have performed in the US, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, and many other countries as part of their tour, which is concluding today, September 12, in Seattle, US.
