Ahyun, the group’s baby monster, revealed a behind-the-scenes story about the three-tiered high notes in the title song “Drip.”
Baby Monster (Luca, Parita, Asa, Ahyun, Rami, Laura, Chiquita) held a press conference at the YG Entertainment headquarters in Hapjeong-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul at 11 a.m. on the 1st to commemorate the release of its first full-length album “DRIP.”
On this day, Ah-hyun said that the three-tiered high note in the title song “Drip” was impressive, adding, “It’s a part that I also saw impressively. Originally, it was a stable melody with one high note,” he said.
“The general manager (Yang Hyun-seok) listened to it in the recording studio and posted it one by one, saying, ‘Ahyun seems to be a little better,’ and then he made a three-tiered high note,” he said.
Meanwhile, the album and the title song of the same name, “Drip,” is an EDM-based dance song that melts Baby Monster’s confident attitude and YG’s unique hip-hop vibe. G-Dragon also participated in the composition and drew attention. Addictive hooks, dynamic beats, and intense bass sound are combined to provide a thrilling thrill. Released at 1 p.m. that day.
