According to YG Entertainment on September 9, BABYMONSTER’s official YouTube channel crossed the 10 million subscriber mark at 1:16 p.m. that day.
The achievement comes just one year and five months after their debut on April 1, 2024, making it the fastest any K-pop girl group has ever reached this milestone since debut. This record highlights their explosive popularity not only in Korea but also internationally.
With this, BABYMONSTER becomes only the third K-pop girl group to achieve over 10 million YouTube subscribers, following BLACKPINK and TWICE. BLACKPINK, who debuted in August 2016, has amassed 98.71 million subscribers to date, while TWICE, who debuted in October 2015, currently boasts 18.6 million.
Industry watchers predict that if BABYMONSTER continues to grow at this pace, they could eventually rival BLACKPINK’s global fandom scale.
Adding to their momentum, BABYMONSTER launched their first reality content series BAEMON House on September 5. As of September 10, the first episode surpassed 6 million views, showing the group’s immense draw. The series, where members showcase their individual charms for the first time since debut, is expected to further accelerate channel growth.
BABYMONSTER’s channel already features 11 videos with over 100 million views each, with total accumulated views exceeding 5.4 billion. From music videos to performance clips and behind-the-scenes footage, nearly all content consistently garners millions of views.
Meanwhile, BABYMONSTER is set to release their second mini-album on October 10, featuring four tracks: title song WE GO UP, along with PSYCHO, SUPA DUPA LUV, and WILD.
